Safe induction cooktop installation for Sydney homes in the Eastern Suburbs and North Shore.

Induction cooktops need more power than most kitchen circuits provide. We check your home and wire your cooktop properly.
New induction cooktops connected, tested and ready to use.
A dedicated circuit sized for your cooktop’s power draw.
Help moving off gas, with the gas side done by a gasfitter.
Switchboard upgrades when your home needs more capacity.
Induction heats the pan directly, so water boils quickly and the heat responds the moment you adjust it.
With no open flame and a surface that cools quickly, induction is a safer choice around children.
More of the energy goes into the pan instead of the air around it, so the kitchen stays cooler.
No gas burning in the kitchen means no combustion fumes in the air your family breathes.
A flat glass surface wipes clean in seconds, with no burners or grates to scrub.
An all-electric kitchen can run on your own solar power during the day.

Yes. Induction cooktops are hardwired and draw a lot of power, so in NSW the connection must be made by a licensed electrician. Most need their own dedicated circuit from the switchboard, sized to the cooktop’s rating. We check your board and supply, run the circuit if needed, connect the cooktop and test everything.
In most cases, yes. A typical four-zone induction cooktop needs a dedicated circuit of around 32 amps, which is more than a standard power circuit can supply. Smaller two-zone models may need less. We check the manufacturer’s requirements and your existing wiring, then run a new circuit if the current one isn’t up to the job.
Not always. If your switchboard has a spare space, safety switch protection and enough capacity, we can usually just add the new circuit. Older boards with ceramic fuses or no room may need upgrading first, and in some homes the main supply also needs attention. We’ll check and explain your options before any work starts.
For most households, yes. Induction is fast, precise and easy to clean, and it takes gas combustion out of your kitchen. If you have solar, you can cook with your own power. The switch involves a new electrical circuit and a licensed gasfitter to safely disconnect and cap the gas line. Most induction cooktops also need magnetic cookware.
No. Because induction cooktops are hardwired into your home’s electrical system, installing one is electrical work that must be done by a licensed electrician in NSW. Unlicensed electrical work is illegal, can affect your home insurance and puts your family at risk. We’ll install it safely and certify the work when it’s done.
